Description
Historical Inspirations
Dilapidated drying sheds are some of the only remains of Australia’s long-dead tobacco boom. In the mid-20th century, tobacco was big business in the Queensland town of Texas, 300 kilometres south-west of Brisbane.
These rugged structures with darkened doorways stand dominant in the vast fields at sunset.
Location discovered during my Brisbane to Hay photographic road trip.
