Nagambie to Tarcutta (342km 3.18hrs)

1. NAGAMBIE to WONGA WETLANDS 216km, 2.14hrs – 2377 Riverina Hwy, Splitters Creek NSW 2640

small wetland area with a pleasant, easy walk with some lovely bird hides. We did the 45min Red walk trail, which had a nice mix of scrub and wetland and a good view of lagoons 3 & 5

My photos went missing so this is off  https://www.visitalburywodonga.com/operator/wonga-wetlands/ but happens to be the tree I actually had taking photos of.

2. WONGA WETLANDS to TARCUTTA 138km, 1.24hrs

We were going to stop the night at Gundigie but instead pushed on to Braeden Sports Ground in Tarcutta. The best entry is the laneway on the north side of Ampol which is on your left just as you enter the town on Sydney St. We parked between the tennis courts and the creek. Went for a walk across the creek bridge and found an interesting farm to take photos…. and not sure what to say about this particular shop front decoration…. I believe it is up for lease hahaha

Didn’t want to finish the day on buts, so this is a van I found on our walk around town
